Know Who You're Putting Behind the Wheel.
Before giving a candidate or employee access to your company vehicle, know whether they can operate it safely, responsibly and efficiently. Sam's Driving Academy provides independent practical driver assessments for prospective and existing employees.
We help businesses identify driving risks, poor vehicle handling, excessive wear-and-tear behaviour, unsafe driving habits and training requirements — before they become costly problems.
A Valid Licence Doesn't Always Mean a Competent Driver.
Companies often recruit employees based on interviews, experience and possession of the correct driver's licence. However, this does not necessarily tell an employer how that person actually handles a vehicle. Poor driving behaviour can contribute to:
Sam's Driving Academy provides businesses with an additional layer of verification — before or after a driver is entrusted with a company vehicle.
Three Core Services
Independent practical assessment for candidates, existing employees and entire fleets.

Driver Rating System
Results are never limited to a simple PASS/FAIL. We use four recommendation levels.
Recommended
Driver demonstrates the required competency for the assessed vehicle and driving environment.
Recommended With Training
Driver demonstrates sufficient general competency but specific areas require improvement.
Not Yet Recommended
Significant training is recommended before the driver is entrusted with the relevant company vehicle.
High Risk
Serious safety or competency concerns were identified during the assessment.
The report clearly states that the assessment provides professional information to support the company's decision-making process. The employer remains responsible for its final recruitment, employment and fleet-management decisions.

Looking for an Ongoing Driver Assessment Partner?
Companies with regular recruitment or large fleets can enter into corporate arrangements with Sam's Driving Academy.
Need to Assess Multiple Drivers?
Companies should not need to submit the form individually for 50 or 100 drivers. Request a bulk assessment and our team will prepare scheduling, quotation, an assessment programme and location arrangements. Corporate clients will eventually be able to upload a spreadsheet of multiple drivers directly.
Pricing
Fixed corporate fleet pricing isn't published upfront — assessing a light vehicle driver shouldn't necessarily cost the same as assessing a heavy commercial driver. Request a tailored quote instead.
