Please read these terms carefully before booking lessons with Sam's Driving Academy.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of driving lessons, packages, and services provided by Sam's Driving Academy ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a lesson or purchasing a package, you ("the student") agree to be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Cancellation Policy
- Lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time to avoid forfeiture of the lesson credit.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the full lesson credit being charged.
- If you fail to arrive for a scheduled lesson without prior notice (no-show), the full lesson credit will be forfeited.
- Sam's Driving Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to weather conditions, vehicle availability, or instructor unavailability. In such cases, no credit will be deducted and a replacement lesson will be arranged.
- Test day transport bookings must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance for a full credit refund.
Refund Policy
- All payments are non-refundable except where explicitly stated.
- Lesson credits purchased are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Credits are non-transferable between students and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- If Sam's Driving Academy cancels a lesson and cannot offer a suitable reschedule, the associated credit will be returned to your wallet.
- Bundle and package purchases are non-refundable once the first lesson has been conducted.
- Student pricing requires valid proof of student status. If proof is not provided, the standard rate will apply and the difference will be charged.
Code of Conduct During Lessons
- Students must hold a valid learner's licence for the relevant code (Code 8 or Code 10) before commencing practical driving lessons on public roads.
- Students must arrive on time and be in a fit state to drive. Anyone suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused the lesson, and the credit will be forfeited.
- Students must follow all instructions given by the instructor at all times for safety and legal compliance.
- Disruptive, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour toward instructors or other road users will not be tolerated and may result in termination of lessons without refund.
- Mobile phones must not be used while driving except where the instructor permits for navigation practice.
- Students must wear appropriate footwear (no sandals or high heels) during driving lessons.
Lesson & Vehicle Terms
- Lessons are conducted in Sam's Driving Academy vehicles, which are fully insured and equipped with dual controls for safety.
- Pick-up and drop-off is included within our standard service areas. Areas outside the standard radius may incur an additional credit cost.
- Vehicle hire for the driving test is included only in packages that explicitly state test day vehicle hire. Standalone vehicle hire is subject to availability.
- Students are responsible for any deliberate damage to the vehicle caused during a lesson.
- Transmission type (manual or automatic) is selected at the time of booking and cannot be changed on the day of the lesson without prior arrangement.
Liability & Disclaimer
- Sam's Driving Academy takes all reasonable precautions to ensure student safety during lessons. However, we are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
- While we provide professional instruction, we do not guarantee that a student will pass the driving test. Test outcomes depend on individual performance on the day.
- Students participate in lessons at their own risk and are advised to disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to drive safely.
- Sam's Driving Academy is not responsible for any traffic fines incurred during a lesson due to a student's actions.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking a lesson, purchasing a package, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
